the conversion kits requires the removal of the old fan pulley but doesn;t say anything about whether or not I need a different serpentine bellt. Any ideas?

Do you not put anything on to replace the pulley? If the new pulley is the same diameter as the old one you should be fine, but if it isn’t or if it gets rid of it altogether and reroutes the belt, you’ll probably need a new one. FYI I’m ASSuming you’re converting from mech to electric fans, but don’t actually know.

Well if you’re using the JHM EFK kit like your last post “i’m out” suggests, on their site they say...
“The JHM EFK completely bypasses the stock mechanical fan pulley and the fan without the need to get a new belt”

Id assume you leave the pulley attached. Does the fan contact it or something?

Im not sure how much contact the serpentine makes with the pulley but if it just sits over the top making only an inch or two of contact then the tensioner might be able to compensate.
